Terms of service.

1) Payments and Credit Card: A valid credit card must be on file for all reservations.  Full payment will be charged after trip is completed. We accept Master Card, Visa, AMEX.

2) Customers are billed from the time personnel and/or vehicles leave the Sterling Elite facility until the time it returns to the Sterling Elite facility.

3) Smoking:  All of our vehicles are NON-smoking. If smoking occurs in a vehicle you will be charged and the reservation terminated immediately.

4) Alcohol and Drugs: Alcohol and drugs are prohibited in all vehicles. If this is found, the charter may be terminated immediately, and no refund will be given. Sterling Elite strictly enforces State and Federal laws and will maintain a zero-tolerance compliance policy that no alcoholic beverages or drugs can be consumed or used by any person in the vehicle. If found, your trip will be terminated, and no refund given.

5) Damages and Cleaning: The client will be charged for any damages that are caused by his/her guests. There is a $250.00 clean-up fee for excessive matter in any vehicle.

6) Sterling Elite reserves the right to terminate any reservation without refund, if the Operator or the Dispatcher on duty feels that the client and/or Party of the client is putting the Operator or the mode of transportation or the client and/or Party of the client in danger of damage or injury. Operator may terminate the reservation at any time if the client and/or party become unruly and/or uncontrollable.

7) Personal Items: Sterling Elite is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen property.

8) Weather/Traffic/Breakdowns: Sterling Elite cannot be held responsible for any mechanical breakdowns, inclement weather conditions, traffic conditions, or any other acts of God. Sterling Elite agrees to send the requested vehicle as offered in the contract. We have the right to upgrade the vehicles or switch the vehicles in case of emergency breakdown or if vehicles were in accidents.

9) Deposits and Cancellation Policy:  Deposits are non-refundable, no exceptions. Full trip amount will be charged if cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled pickup time. Weather and flight cancellations will be taken into factor.

10) Overtime: For all reservations, there is a 30 minutes grace period beyond the scheduled pickup time. An hourly fee based on vehicle type will occur. Any changes to the initial reservation must be done within 4 hours of scheduled pickup.

11) Other Rules:

  1. Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond seating capacity.

  2. All vehicle prices and trips are quoted based on availability and rates are subject to change without notice.

  3. Trips are quoted for ONE WAY. If you have a round trip, you will receive two (2) confirmations with the total for each way.

  4. Pickups between 11:59 PM and 6:00 AM are subject to a $35 surcharge.

  5. Holidays: A $35.00 holiday surcharge will be charged to all trips occurring on: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas.

  6. Any pet will be charged an additional $25.00. We must be notified of any pet you plan to bring.

  7. Car seats and booster seats are available for $25.00 each. Please let customer service know upon making your reservation if you need to include a seat.

  8. Due to homeland security, our chauffeurs are required to stay with the vehicle at all times when picking you up. You will need to exit the terminal and meet your chauffeur in a designated limo spot. This varies based on the airport and terminal as follows;

    • Portland Jetport: Exit the terminal at baggage claim and the limousine pickup area is directly to your right.

    • Bangor International Airport: Exit the terminal at baggage claim and wait alongside the building. The vehicle will pull up curbside for your pickup.
